Because of Ramadan (the Islamic month of fasting which started August 1st), Skyline Tower held their National Night Out a week early. CommonBond Communities, the owner of Skyline Tower, provided food and prizes, while the Teen Leadership Group of Skyline planned games and activities. They had face painting, chalk drawing, a water balloon toss, and much more! The Skyline Tower Leadership Team (STLT) also held an outreach table to inform fellow residents about what they are working on. They displayed posters that outlined their goals, shared their visions for future development around Skyline, and simplified the District Plan process to clearly explain it to residents.
Also, stay tuned for a video the Teen Leadership Group made during NNO that explains why they support green space behind Gordon Parks High School!
