Minority contractors rebound with community service

During the recent economic downturn, people in the construction industry suffered. But now that there are some encouraging economic signs, major building projects have sprung up in Minneapolis and St. Paul. In the midst of this new activity, the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors is looking forward with optimism and planning an annual charity makeover vent. Gilbert Odonkor of YAW Construction is president of the chapter. He talked with KFAI’s Siobhan Kierans about the difficulty of the past few years. [Audio below]
