Minnesota Book Awards are coming

We at the TC Daily Planet invite you to read and reflect on the books nominated for the Minnesota Book Awards. We would like to publish reviews, reflections or responses to the nominated books (below). Just send your response to editor@tcdailyplanet.net.

Now in its twentieth year, the Minnesoa Book Awards program announced finalists in eight categories, and will make awards at a gala celebration on April 12. The Minnesota Book Awards, sponsored by the Friends of the St. Paul Public Library, honor the work of a Minnesota writer, or “primary artistic creator” such as an illustrator or photographer whose work is integral and essential to the work. Only work published in 2007 is eligible for the 2007 awards.

The nominees are:

Children’s Literature:
