Minneapolis gets money for green jobs training

The Department of Labor announced on Wednesday that the city of Minneapolis will receive $4 million in “Pathways out of Poverty” grants to provide green jobs training. While all Minneapolis communities will benefit, the city will target economically disadvantaged populations for training. Jessica Folker spoke with Mike Christensen of Minneapolis Community Planning and Economic Development, about the program which will launch in June 2010.
