The world’s craziest spectacles tend to glom together as if by gravitational pull: Lindsay Lohan and Terry Richardson, Rupert Murdoch and MySpace, Cirque du Soleil and the Oscars. Can dozens of the world’s most talented performers make up for the absence of the man with all the right moves (and several of the wrong ones)? Snap on your sequined love glove, open your wallet, and take a deep breath.
