On May 9, 2008, young Megan Nurnberger was diagnosed with leukemia. Now in sixth grade, Megan has survived a long trial of sometimes-painful treatment with the love and support of her family and friends. Now, Megan is dedicated to helping find a cure for cancer and is eager to share her story to help others. That’s why she was chosen by Macy’s to be the “child ambassador” for Glamorama 2009, a high-profile fashion and entertainment event to benefit Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
