Come one, come all! Lyndale will host the 15th annual La Posada celebration on Saturday, December 14th from 4:00pm to 7:30pm at Lyndale School.
This is one of the neighborhood’s grandest events, and there are many reasons to come celebrate with your neighbors.
Have your photo taken with Santa or construct your casa on a neighborhood mural. There will be an array of youth activities with Youth Farm and other community members.
Support the women who organized to make La Posada happen: gracias Latinas de Lyndale en Liderazgo!
Be dazzled by the creative decor of the Guzman Jimenez family.
Learn about Lyndale’s newest project Mujeres en Conexión and programs for neighborhood families.
Get ceremonius with the traditional La Posada song and then share in an extravagent feast! There will be homemade tamales along with other Latino favorites generously donated by local businesses such as Valerie’s, El Paraiso, and Taqueria La Hacienda.
Try your hand at the family raffle, enjoy the dance of the piñatas, and see the happy children receive their gifts at the end of the night. There is something for everyone!
La Posada is a fun opportunity to connect with other community members in a festive, friendly environment. Come with the whole family!
