The Pohlad Family Foundation, with volunteers from the Pohlad Companies, Minnesota Internship Center students from Unity House, and the community, are coordinating block beautification projects in three of the neighborhoods affected by the May, 2011 tornados in North Minneapolis.
From September 29, 2011 through October 1, 2011, two hundred volunteers will be improving thirty-three properties in the Jordan, Folwell, and Webber Camden neighborhoods. The volunteers will be helping residents with landscaping projects. The Foundation has also hired contractors to assist residents with concrete repair, painting and other minor repairs to the homes.
Thank you to everyone who has worked to make this possible!
