Lay down your pen and throw away your Target shopping list. Just when you thought it was safe to clean out your garage the Super Sale returns. Simply opening your garage door on May 22 may cause a spontaneous line of neighbors to form and start asking questions like “how much for the bike?” and “what about that grill?” and “is your dog for sale?” From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. it will look like houses and garages around the CARAG neighborhood have given birth to all of that stuff that they’ve collected over our long winter. Make no mistake, if you like garage sale shopping, this is the mother of all garage sales. What a great time to buy something fun or at least own it long enough to tire of it next year when you can unload it at next year’s sale.
