In this gritty and hilarious culture clash comedy, two young Moroccan Dutchmen discover the ironies and misunderstanding in European multicultural society as they confront the various layers of Dutch society.
A beautiful upper class girl sets out to meet a real immigrant, a fi lmmaker tries to make a film about the fate of asylum seekers and fails spectacularly, a Moroccan-Dutch army sergeant searches for true love and a young homeless shelter assistant seeks happiness outside the familiar ground of her family and her workplace. Director Albert ter Heerdt ( Hush Hush Baby and his Schnitzel Paradise actors) took Dutch Best Music, Acting and Scenario Awards last year.
