What’s your job?
“I’m the community organizer for the Longfellow neighborhood. I work with residents and plan events for the betterment of the community. It’s a great job, but I really can’t take any more comments on how I’m going to be president someday like Barack Obama. Make it stop!”
Other than your job, what are your claims to fame?
“I’m the creator/producer of Street Stories, a web-series on MPLS.TV. We film residents telling their favoirte story that took place in Minneapolis. The first one featured my mom. It was about the worst date she’d ever been on I would recommend seeing it. I also do improv at the Brave New Workshop and Huge. I’m on three teams right now, including one called Poivre, where we dress up like 1940s movie stars and create an improvised film noir. Oh, I love it! I also once put a wristband on Sir Ian McKellan while I was working as a Segway tour guide. I said I was a fan of his work and he said thank you and then told me that I put the wristband on too tight and could I please loosen it.”
What’s your relationship status?
“I have a boyfriend. His name is Anders. He is very tall. He is in a band called Love Lake.”
Where are you most likely to be seen?
“Brave New Workshop, Huge Theater, Love Lake shows, Chimborazo Restaurant—it’s the best. The lakes, Spyhouse, the Bad Waitress, Club Jäger, and at parties. I love me a party!”
Where are you least likely to be seen?
“Chino Latino. It’s the only restaurant I have no desire to go to. Oh, and Sneaky Pete’s. I will never know thee.”
With what people are you most likey to be seen?
“Anders, Sarah Morean, my mom, Megan Savage, and a lot of other really wonderful people.”
Where were you born?
“Minneapolis—at Abbott Hospital, to be precise. The doctor said I was going to be a boy. Guess the joke was on him! Surprise!”
What neighborhood do you live in now?
What’s your ride?
“My bike and my mom’s 2001 golden Mazda Protege. I love that little car. It was recently hit by a bus, but it looks like my buddy’s gonna pull through!”
What’s the best way for someone to start a conversation with you?
“Tell me a joke!”
