Jacob Frey gets Minneapolis DFL endorsement for Ward 3 council seat

Minneapolis will elect a new mayor and city council this fall. The mayoral contest is wide open with R.T. Rybak’s decision to not run for office. The city council might see significant changes as well, In the third ward, newcomer Jacob Frey took the DFL endorsement from incumbent Diane Hofstede, who withdrew from the endorsement process but intends to run in the November election.

Jacob Frey recently stopped by KFAI to talk with Trisha Collopy. Trisha noted that four city council incumbents did not get the DFL endorsement this time around, and she asked Frey why he thinks that happened. [Audio below]
