On May 1, Hunx & His Punx performed at the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis. Here’s my tweetcap of the evening.
- First time I’ve heard a singer ask for light so he could see his guitar. Ugh.
- Band onstage at the entry is covering the Muppet Babies theme song. (Shannon & the Clams)
- So… Hunx of Hunx and his Punx is wearing thigh high striped nylons and flesh colored hot pants. Eeeesh.
- Wait. So his tights just look that way. Still… Flesh-colored partially striped tights and a plaid shirt isn’t the best fashion choice.
- So far the crowd is a mix of dirty gutter punks, gals dressed like Betty Page, and hipsters. #weird I have no idea where I fit in.
- Also, chics who wear dresses like Betty Page look 100,000 times hotter than the ones in jeans/t-shirts or short skirts when they’re dancing.
- Girls in the front row are stripped down to their bras and both leads have black undies & nude striped tights on.
- “there’s a large shirtless man just standing and watching us in the back…”
- “Are you touching me right now? I can feel you touching me. No, don’t stop.”
- Your loss boys. RT @brokenhalo: @solace @Staciaann yeah, I apparently should have gone, too.
