Gastro Non Grata takes a Vagabond Vacation at First Ave

Print

“It’s like it’s too good to be true!” gushed one of the many well-sated patrons who visited First Avenue on Sunday night for Vagabond Vacation, the first happening ever hosted at the downtown venue by Gastro Non Grata—an event series that calls itself “a local chef-driven, alcohol fueled music machine.” The merch table became a sausage factory, the Record Room turned into an oyster bar, and the Entry hosted a dessert table of cupcakes. With entertainment by live bands and DJs, the evening was sweet music to the ears and to the stomach.
