by Matthew A. Everett • July 17, 2008 • Queer Fringers and/or Fringers with queer shows – including yours truly and one of our show’s talented cast – will be sitting in on the Fresh Fruit program tonight (Thursday, 7/17) from 7:30pm to 8:30pm on KFAI (www.kfai.org) – 90.3 FM Minneapolis, 106.7 FM St. Paul.

In addition to listening in live on the radio tonight, you’ll also be able to listen on their archives online at the website www.kfai.org for the next two weeks – by which time, yikes, the Fringe’s opening night will be here!

Single White Fringe Geek (and Mom) is the blog of Matthew A. Everett, one of five bloggers covering the Minnesota Fringe Festival for the Daily Planet.

Another great way to preview a cross-section of upcoming Fringe shows.

I have a face made for radio, so this should hopefully go quite well. Wish me luck as the Bronze Bitch and Dog Tag take to the airwaves!

We’re also going to be part of next Monday’s second edition of Fringe-For-All, so come see a snippet live on stage as well – 7:30pm at the Ritz, Monday, 7/21 – 345 13th Avenue NE in Minneapolis

(This whole thing probably qualifies as a shameless plug of the day, but since there are a bunch of other shows involved, too, I feel a little less shameless.)

Entering his sixth year of blogging about the Minnesota Fringe Festival (and bringing Mom along for the ride as a guest reviewer), Matthew A. Everett is also a local playwright and three-time recipient of grant support from the Minnesota State Arts Board. Information on Matthew and his plays can be found at matthewaeverett.com.
