Milkweed Editions is the featured – and final – program on the Spotlight on Local Presses series sponsored by the Library Foundation of Hennepin County and Milkweed Editions. It’s Thursday, December 8, 7-9 p.m. in Pohlad Hall at the Minneapolis Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall.
Poet, journalist, translator and essayist Christopher Merrill will discuss his new book The Tree of the Doves Ceremony, Expedition, War, published by Milkweed. Daniel Slager, publisher and CEO of Milkweed Editions, will discuss the work of this major local publisher.
Books will be available for purchase and signing. Seating is first-come, first served, with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. The evening is free and open to the public. No reservations required.
