Roughly 500 people came out to mark the 6th anniversary of the Iraq war. I started with a group from Youth Against War and Racism in front of Central High at Lexington and Marshall. They played music out of powerful speaker system on wheels that I believe someone brought from Mankato. War economics is no longer considered a separate issue. Housing foreclosures, jobs, corporate bailouts and money spent on illegal wars was a major focus this year.
