Come on down to the Midtown Farmers Market in September and check out some the amazing fresh produce and other wonderful products that are currently being offered by our great growers and vendors. Fall is right around the corner and we are over halfway through the season, so don’t miss out! You can also enjoy some great live music, fresh and delicious prepared foods and many other exciting activities at the market in the month of September.
Some items you’re sure to find include:
apples, melons, sweet corn, broccoli, snap peas, green beans, kohlrabi, carrots, radishes, turnips, beets, lettuce, spinach, kale, Swiss chard, arugula, bok choy, scallions, onions, leeks, potatoes, summer squash and zucchini, cucumbers, herbs, grass-fed beef, pasture raised pork and chicken, lamb, eggs, cheese, yogurt, butter, jams and jellies, pickled veggies, honey, maple syrup, artisan breads, granola, flowers, bedding plants, coffee, tea, scones, croissants, cookies, fruit tarts, breakfast pastries, sambusas, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, kabobs, burgers, arepas, tacos, burritos, tamales, kettle corn, boiled peanuts and popsicles. You’ll also find a wide range of handmade furniture and local arts and crafts.
Market activities for the month of September include:
- September 7th—Story Time with the East Lake Library. Also, Midtown Flavors cooking demo with Lisa McDonald.
- September 14th—Scandinavian Heritage Day. Also, Second Saturday Family Activity with Martha Zemur
- September 21st—Third Blood Drive of the season. More Midtown Flavors
- September 28th—Native American Day.

The Midtown Farmers Market is located at the corner of East Lake Street and 22nd Avenue South and offers fresh, local goods every Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm from May-June and Tuesday from 3:00pm-7:00pm June-October.
