The Healing Elixir: A Model of Care in Working with LGBTQ+ Clients and Clients Living with HIV

JustUs Health has historically served clients in Minnesota who have experienced some of society’s most severe, violent, and neglectful attempts at oppression: LGBTQ+ community members, those living with HIV, substance users, and people of color. Our clients are resilient, strong, and proud but can struggle in spite of their successes. This awareness and educational event is designed to introduce mental health providers to the Pillars of Care utilized by the JustUs Health Behavior Health Clinic, which help address the oppression our clients experience in daily life. Learn more about how you can implement these principles in your every day work to empower your clients.

All registration fees and donations help provide services for JustUs Health clients who are uninsured or underinsured.

Participants will receive 1 CEU Credit as approved by the Minnesota Board of Social Work.
