Event Details

How do our understandings of race, power, and identity shape our media practices in movement moments? What would a shared racial justice media practice look like across our communities? How can we engage strategically with media outlets and public story telling in ways that lift up our solidarity and interconnection? If these questions excite you, please join the Kaleo Center and Auburn Theological Seminary. We will be led by five incredible trainers –Kandace Montgomery from the national Black Lives Matter Network and the Black Visions Collective, Eleonore Wesserle from Line Break Media, Rev. Ashley Harness from Lyndale UCC and Auburn Theological Seminary, Caitlin Breedlove, Vice President for Movement Building at Auburn Theological Seminary, and Liz Loeb, Associate Director of the Kaleo Center.

We can host up to 50 people for the training, so please register here! Another daylong training is scheduled for Sunday, May 20.
