Mobile devices are a serious investment as well as a storehouse of personal data and online activity, so they’ve become an essential part of our lives, but also targets of hackers and thieves. You have options for providing better smartphone security. Learn which basic security settings are right for you and how to configure them. Topics include PINs and password managers, apps and backups, WiFi and VPNs, remote wipe, encryption, and smartphone scams.  Whether you use an iPhone or Android, make sure your smartphone is safe. Presented by Twin Cities Media Alliance and funded by MELSA.

This class will be taught by Paulino Brener. Thanks to our partnership with the Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA), this class is offered free of charge.
