The Parks and Power campaign is hosting a 3 day political education Knowledge Exchange entitled Politics Is Local focused on building grassroots understanding of how to transform local government, focusing on the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, with a Racial and Economic Justice lens. We are inviting you to participate in these sessions to add your experience to our collective knowledge and join the base that is moving to transform Minneapolis.

The Politics is Local Knowledge Exchange will take place

Thursday, August 11th from 6-8pm,
Friday August 12th from 5:30 – 8:00pm
and Saturday, August 13th from 9:00am-12:00pm

All sessions will take place at Hope Community, 611 E. Franklin. Healthy food, childcare and translation will be provided at all sessions (please include any dietary, childcare and translation needs in your RSVP). We ask that participants plan to attend all 3 sessions as they build on each other, we recognize this is a big commitment and will make it worth your while.
