What would a state with racial equity actually look like?
For the past 6 years, Voices for Racial Justice has assembled a Racial Equity Agenda with our partners, which we then would present to the state legislature. This year we want to expand the process and work with the community to co-create a document that we can all rally around to get the hard work done at the Capitol this session. This document will become Our Mnisota*: A Shared Vision for Our State.
We need your help to get it done. Join us for a community visioning session at the American Indian Center on Franklin Avenue on Saturday, October 22, from 11 am to 3 pm. At this event, we will have a broad array of partners work with Voices staff to facilitate open conversations with community members around an array of different policy areas.
Refreshments will be provided. Children of all ages are welcome. Please register on Eventbrite so we can be properly prepared for food!
