Event Details

It’s an All-Hands-on-Deck Moment!

We are getting closer and closer to Minnesota Museum of American Art’s grand opening on Sunday, December 2. Can you lend a hand? If you’ve volunteered with the M in the past and are interested in coming back, let us know. Are you an art lover, ready to take a more active role in the Twin Cities vibrant creative scene? Maybe you’re just looking for fun opportunities to connect and contribute to the community. These are all great reasons to consider volunteering at the M!

As this museum begins a brand new chapter, your time and energy will make a real difference. Volunteers are vital to the M’s success. You’ll welcome visitors to the gallery and help shape their experiences at the museum. As a volunteer, you’ll be trained to share information with visitors about the M’s exhibitions, classes, and programs. You’ll also have an opportunity to help behind the scenes and at special events, both on-site and out in the community.

If you would like to learn more about how you can become a volunteer at the M, visit, or email for details.

The M is a community effort. We want you to be part of the team!
