Event Details

Come and learn about Google Drive and Google Docs: Google’s version of documents, spreadsheets, forms, presentations, and drawings—all part of the Google Docs suite. Learn how to create, manipulate, manage and collaborate with Google Docs. This hands-on class is designed for anyone seeking easy ways to collaborate digitally. It is participatory. You will need to bring your own device (laptop or tablet) or arrange with the library to use one of theirs. Come to class with a Google Account set up (gmail is a Google account) If you already have a Google account, you will need to know your login/password information. If you’re using a tablet, you will need to know the password you use to download apps on the device (Apple App Store password, Google Play password, etc.) You are advised to have downloaded a browser other than Explorer, ideally Chrome. If you must use Explorer it needs to be a recent version.

Presented by Twin Cities Media Alliance and funded by MELSA.

This class will be taught by Todd Wardrope. Thanks to our partnership with the Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA), this class is offered free of charge, but pre-registration is required as space is limited.
