Hmong Minnnesota Student Association presents Heritage Day 2017 – “Unspoken; Mloog Kuv Lub Suab” (“Unspoken; Listen to My Voice”), a live theatrical show. This year’s themes involve Rape Culture, Patriarchy, and Mental Health (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Depression).
This year’s play centers around a rising Hmong attorney named Kajsiab. One day, she receives a file about a physical assault case concerning a Hmong high school student, Keej. As Kajsiab dives deeper into the case, she comes to learn that Keej’s experiences parallels her own.
Will Kajsiab be able to help Keej solve his case?
