Join in the fun at Girl Time, our annual family event all about girls and engineering. Drop in between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to explore engineering together. Try hands-on activities designed with girls in mind, see demonstrations, and chat with women working in, or studying, engineering to learn more about their work, fields of study, and how they knew this was the career for them. Bring your curiosity and your questions. You’ll leave with information about getting involved in STEM activities today and with ideas for your future.
At Girl Time, we bring together women engineers from corporations around the Twin Cities to showcase their work, discuss their experiences studying and working in STEM, and to facilitate interactive activities and demos. You’ll also meet young women studying STEM fields at universities and girls from local high schools and middle schools.
Drop in for an hour or stay all day to explore together. Perfect for girls ages 5-12 and their grown-ups. Boys also welcome.
Saturday, September 22, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. $9 Pre-registered. $12 at the door. Free for Members.
