Through the healing process, Pathways encourages self-reflection and introspection; The Future of Food will explore food and health from the diverse perspectives and personal stories of panelists – to inform and identify options for personal and community healing.
Pathways has been a trailblazer in offering provocative topics that raise the collective consciousness of the community. Pathways is dedicated to connecting individuals to resources and educational opportunities that promote individual healing, health and wellness.
Meet the Panelists:
Beth Dooley: Beth Dooley writes for the Taste section of The Star Tribune and appears regularly on Kare 11 and Minnesota Public Radio’s “Appetites”. She has written 12 cookbooks including ‘The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Kitchen’ (co-written by Sean Sherman), a James Beard Award-winning cookbook. She is currently working on her next book, tentatively titled ‘The perennial Kitchen’ focused on regenerative agriculture.
Dr. Gregory Plotnikoff: Dr. Gregory Plotnikoff is the Founder and Medical Director at Minnesota Personalized Medicine, a micro-practice dedicated to serving patients suffering from mystery, complexity, and severity despite extensive medical evaluations. Dr. Plotnikoff has a broad background with board certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, as well as advanced training in medical acupuncture, Kampo (traditional Japanese herbal medicine), hospital chaplaincy, and mind-body medicine.
Cecily Sommers: A leading futurist and innovation expert, Cecily speaks, writes, and consults on emerging trends, markets, and technologies shaping business and society, and identifies growth opportunities that shape business strategies and fill innovation pipelines for major corporations, public utilities, universities and NGOs. She cultivates methods based on deep experience in arts and science for a razor-sharp whole-brain approach to strategy and innovation.
Scott Endres: Scott is the principal and co-founder of Tangletown Gardens and Wise Acre Eatery. Scott oversees Tangletown’s award-winning retail division which has been recognized locally and nationally for its innovation, merchandising, quality, customer service, and maximization of space. He excels in landscape and container design, merchandising, management, and is considered and expert in plant and horticultural science. In 2011, Scott co-founded Wise Acre Eatery with food sustainability grown at Tangletown Gardens’ Farm in Plato, MN.
