Equity Summit II. The Next Level.

Today’s leader is versatile, able to navigate uncertainty, adaptive and able to course correct and set new direction, vulnerable enough to be authentic about what they think and feel as they move their organizations’ forward, and courageous enough to do the heavy lifting even when it takes them way out of their comfort zones. Change requires intentional focus and deliberate action. Equity Summit II is a leaders’ call to action to commit to work together to move our region and our state forward.

Join us October 24, 2019 to take our Equity Work to the Next Level

Equity Summit II is an opportunity to dig deeper into the personal perceptions and motivations that are foundational to us as individuals. These views and triggers influence how we engage with one another and ultimately do business. We will ask leaders to take specific actions to close the economic disparity gap and advance equity in our organizations:

• Increase diversity at all levels of leadership (organizational boards, C-suite/senior management teams, and leadership throughout all ranks within the organization)

• Increase retention of diverse employees and advance and promote more up the ranks

• Create an inclusive workplace with cultural competence as a team/staff value for performance

The result will be a welcoming environment where all can flourish because people see themselves in leadership, they will know their organization invests in them and they will experience a culture that embraces them and is shaped by them.

Who should attend?

Leaders who reflect the diversity of our region and could benefit from and contribute to the rich conversations we have planned.
