Black Magik Woman is a female, femme, queer and non-binary based photography and artist event, highlighting and empowering every individual we can reach. Through collaborative images and art pieces, we hope to bring positivity to the view of the female/female identified/ femme/non-binary form and change the generalizations and stereotypes that we are faced with day-to-day. Pro Women doesn’t mean Anti Men. All are welcome here.

This year’s installation with be displayed at Gamut Gallery, downtown Mpls, on May 24, 2018. There will be 13 creative teams this year (all of which are new to BMW) presenting projects that will tackle social issues that women, women identified, femme, and/or non-binary individuals facetoday; personally, globally or historically.

Tickets are very limited this year and WILL sell out; once they are gone there will not be any additional tickets available at the door. Funds raised will be used to cover production costs such as rental fees, entertainment, marketing and promotional items. Additional money raised will be used to start a Black Magik Woman fund to help support future events and artists.
