Event Details

Art To Power is a project of the Million Artist Movement that explores racial justice, Black liberation and equity through art. Artists T. Mychael Rambo, Jayanthi Kyle, BriAnna M. Daniels, Truth Maze, Aimee K. Bryant, H. Adam Harris, and Signe Harriday are shaping the Art to Power culminating sharing.

The Million Artist Movement (MAM) is a collective of Black-Brown-and-Radical Artist Revolutionaries and Activists. Throughout the summer and fall MAM has held pop-up art making sessions all over St. Paul. These pop-ups invited the public to share their voices and stories in a variety of ways. Professional local artists guided these pop-ups that aimed to bring healing to our community through interactive artistic experiences. Some of the sessions required the stroke of a pen, a marker, or chalk while other sessions lifted voices in song, poetry, and video. Lead artists will bring forward and share moments from the session and guide attendees at the event to engage and interact.

This event is Free and open to the public of all ages with food provided. Also present will be Voice of Culture Drum & Dance, Don’t You Feel It Too?, and the Yarn Mission.

Million Artist Movement believes that people bring people together and that art has the ability to transform and foster healing. Join us on December 18th to witness, celebrate, and engage.
