Powderhorn Shark Tank is intended to spark and gather business ideas for Minneapolis, promote local business expansion, and build excitement around growing and emerging businesses. The competition is paired with the Shark Tank Marketplace where finalists and local vendors can sell products at the event.

This category is for small businesses that have been operating for at least one-year. This includes those operating in brick-and-mortar or home-based locations. Applicants in this category will have customers or clients they serve regularly.

Start Ups

This category is for entrepreneurs and small businesses, with or without a solidified business plan, looking to get feedback on their business viability, and those that have been operating for less than one year selling their products or services.
