Help us build a loan fund for African immigrant entrepreneurs!
Nearly 67% of African immigrant entrepreneurs have trouble accessing loans to start their businesses and only 9.4% are able to get support from traditional financial institutions. (Dr. Bruce Corrie, “The Economic Potential of African Immigrants in Minnesota,” 2015) We need your support to build a loan fund to support African businesses. Our fundraiser will include food and refreshments, live performances by Siama w/ Dallas Johnson and Abdi Phenomenal, and a silent auction featuring art by Kimberly Birch and Sara Endalew!
