Aronia (also known as chokeberry) has received much attention lately for its incredibly high antioxidant content. Branded as a “superfood,” it garners a high price at health food stores as well as online distributors. But why pay for it when you can pick it for free? Join Four Season Foraging and Maria Wesserle as we learn to identify (and hopefully harvest!) aronia berries. We will also discuss other wild edibles found in the area.

Meet at the intersection of the Midtown Greenway and 27th Ave S. in Minneapolis. (See map here: https://goo.gl/maps/k9pQjcxzJY42.) There will be a sign that reads “Four Season Foraging.”

Sliding scale $15-$35. Scholarships are available. This event is wheelchair accessible. For more details, please email info@fourseasonforaging.com or call 612-440-5958.
