Act quickly: Pumpkin-pickin’ season comes to a close at the end of the month (natch), and many area orchards no longer offer pick your own apples. Insider tip? Call ahead, as the ripeness of the apples the day of your visit determines if picking will be available. And of course don’t forget to leash up and bring plenty o’ poop bags.
