Dog-friendly review: Psycho Suzi’s Motor Lounge

In honor of our insta-summer weather today, we thought it only fitting to feature a review of a dog-friendly restaurant with plenty of patio space for sun basking. Here’s the buzz about Psycho Suzi’s in Northeast Minneapolis:

Left: People and pooches are equally welcome on Psycho Suzi’s new second-level patio.

Love that our dog can come with us and she gets treated like a rock star every time! Wish there were more places like this for our dog! —Sophia

Huge patio in their newer location by the river. Great view, and they don’t even bat an eye at my bringing in a pittie. Love it. Excellent food too — my pups love the sweet potato fries. —Cassie

Rock-star treatment, sweet-potato fries and equal-opportunity lovin‘ for all breeds? Count us in! Plus word on the street is the tiki-inspired eatery added on a second-level patio just in time for summer — even more space for patrons and their pooches to enjoy the sun and cool river views.

This weekend, check out Suzi’s Art-A-Whirl celebration, complete with a puppy fashion show (Saturday at 2 p.m.) and doggie kissing booth. The restaurant paired up with Ruff Love Dogs and Pet Project Rescue to throw the most dog-friendly fête during the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association’s (NEMAA) annual art extravaganza.
