120 people from the United States and Canada crossed the border into Mexico with humanitarian aid to challenge the Obama administration’s restriction on travel to Cuba. Minneapolis resident Greg Clavey is one of four Twin Cities residents taking part in this mission. Clavey is making his second trip to Cuba with the organization Pastors for Peace. KFAI News Director Ahndi Fridell spoke to Clavey just after he had cleared customs at the U.S. border into Mexico this morning.
