HOME SECURITY CHECK
Reduce the vulnerability of your home to forced entry or burglary by scheduling a free Home Security Check offered by the Minneapolis Police Department SAFE Unit. For more information contact Crime Prevention Specialist Karen Notsch at 612-673-2856 or karen.notsch@minneapolismn.gov
GRAFFITI REMOVAL AND PREVENTION
City of Minneapolis requires graffiti to be removed by the property owner within 10 days. Free products to remove spray paint are available at Minneapolis Fire Stations and at CNO’s office. Please report graffiti with gang markings to 311. Upon request a CNO staff member can visit your home to review graffiti prevention tactics such as stagger fence posts, security lighting or murals.
FORECLOSURE PREVENTION
If you’re behind on your mortgage-or worried that you might not be able to make future payments, the CNO can connect you with a counselor who can negotiate with your mortgage company to modify your mortgage so that you can afford the payments. This is a free service with no minimum or maximum income limit.
EXTERIOR PAINT FROM VALSPAR
While supplies last, CNO is offering FREE exterior paint and primer to Corcoran property owners and residents (homeowner or renter) thanks to a generous grant from the Valspar Foundation. Find more information and request online at < http://corcoranneighborhood.org/paint-request/>.
