We have a new community calendar, and it is ready for you to use. You can find the calendar icon at the top of column 4 on the front page and in the middle of column 1 on all other pages of the Daily Planet. Click on any date in the calendar icon, and you will go to a page listing events for that date.
On the main calendar page, click on “month” to see all of the events in any month. Is your favorite organization or venue’s next event listed? If not, please add it!
STEP ONE: Log in.Anyone who is a registered user can add events. Not registered? Click on Create an Account in the upper left corner of the screen. If you are already a registered user, be sure to log in.
STEP TWO: Enter your event Click on add an event under the calendar icon, and follow the easy instructions.
If you are looking for a particular type of event, you can search a month or the whole year for events of that type. Event types include art galleries & museums, comedy, classes & workshops, community meetings, dance (participatory), dance (performance), fairs and festivals, faith & spirituality, film, food & drink, free stuff, health & wellness, home & garden, kids & family, literary/spoken word, music, public interest & lectures, social justice, sports & outdoor activities, theater, and everything else.
