He brought it on himself, but Friday was clearly not a fun day to be @CeeLoGreen. The storm began with the singer’s testy, seemingly homophobic response (above) to a negative review of his Minneapolis show with Rihanna, written by Andrea Swensson of City Pages. After Twitter told him what it thought of that remark, he came back with, “Apologies gay community! What was homophobic about that? I said I was guessing he was gay which is fine but its nice to what u think of me.” Later, he apparently tweeted, “I’m not tweeting again….goodbye,” and deleted all his tweets from the day. Guess Twitter got a little real for him.
