“Certified public accountant. I work at a public accounting firm in Minnetonka.”
Other than your job, what are your claims to fame?
“Host of Freaky Deeky. MPLS.TV personality—I have a new show debuting this winter. Sometime TC Daily Planet writer. Theme party thrower/promoter with The Original Truth Squad—founders of the Jean Jam and Dad’s Night Out parties. VJ. Dancer for BadNraD‘s stage performance. Playatta party starter/bouncer. My face is on a bumper sticker, a t-shirt, and a Kahndom. The DJ crew WAK LYFand I have teamed up to throw a monthly dance party called Da Funk, which is held every second Saturday of the month at Clubhouse Jäger, although I have only been doing it every other month in 2011. Also, I once entered a dance contest on the stage at a night club in London and won. This is the crowning achievement of my life thus far.”

“First Avenue—especially the Record Room on Saturday nights—Hotbed Studios, Playatta parties, techno music parties in dark and sweaty warehouses, the Internet.”

“Balley’s Total Fitness. I tried to go to Bootlegger’s twice a few years ago, but I left after 20 minutes both times because I couldn’t stop vomiting. I have not been back since.”
With what people are you most likely to be seen?
“My Freaky Deeky and Playatta crew, BadNraD and friends, Eli Flasher, Ben Perecman, the WAK LYF boys, and many, many great people in the Minneapolis techno scene.”
Where were you born?
“Minneapolis. I have lived within 10-15 miles of where I was born my entire life.”
What neighborhood do you live in now?
“Loring Park.”

“Saturn Ion.”
What’s the best way for someone to start a conversation with you?
“Tell me you recognize me from somewhere—even if you don’t—or join me on the dance floor if you see me dancing. or tell me a bad joke. I am a simple man with simple pleasures and a fair-sized ego.”
