The Loring Park Art Festival is this Saturday and Sunday, August 4 and 5. The festival featuring 140 visual artists is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The festival also features strolling musicians, food booths, children’s activities and stage performances.
The artwork includes painting, photography, fiber, sculpture, handmade paper, printmaking, wood, jewelry, mixed media and glassworks.

12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Marvin & Steve, Swiss Alphorn
12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Juggling by Brett & Scott at the Art Hop bus stop
2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Zorongo Flamenco Student Ensemble
3 p.m. – 4 p.m. Jessica Reiter, Hoop Dance
Children’s activities can be found at the Loring Park Community Arts Center on the east side of the park. Families can participate in hands-on art-making sponsored by the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
