For the last four years, Be Heard MN has helped dozens of young poets shape and amplify their voices. A program through TruArtSpeaks, the Be Heard MN youth poetry slam series is an annual competition that seeks to identify a team of six youth poets between ages 13 to 19 residing in Minnesota who will represent the state in the annual international Brave New Voices youth poetry slam festival.

But what the poets get out of Be Heard MN is so much more than just a performance opportunity.

Be sure to catch the semi-finals on March 5 and 12, and the finals on March 26 to see these impressive young poets in action. All slams begin at 7 p.m. Check the image below for ticket pricing and locations.
