Birchwood Cafe – Will be offering its full menu as well as a special cheese trio plate, and a fully-stocked dessert case. The cafe is taking a simple approach to the holiday with no reservations. They welcome groups of 1, 2, 3, or 30. 612-722-4474. 3311 E. 25th St.
Craftsman – Serving its regular menu with a few extra items. Your best bet is bar seating, since they are almost all booked for the evening. 612-722-0175. 4300 E. Lake St.
El Nuevo Rodeo – Special salsa flights, forbidden fruit pastries, and a margarita de la passion. 612-721-6808. 2709 E. Lake St.
Himalayan Restaurant – Serving a special Valentine’s Day menu, with entrees like salmon tikka masala and lamb biryani. 612-332-0880. 2401 E. Franklin Ave.
Longfellow Grill – Will have special Valentine’s Day entrees and desserts. Reservations recommended. 612-721-2711. 2990 West River Parkway.
Mosaic Cafe – Offering half-price bottles of wine and a special dinner of roasted chicken, blueberry passion fruit custard, and chocolate dipped strawberries. Reservations recommended. 612-746-1504. 3019 Minnehaha Ave S.
Pizza Luce – Luce is sharing the love with furry friends, and is donating all of its dessert sales to the Animal Humane Society on Valentine’s Day. 612-332-2535. 119 N 4th St.
Riverview Wine Bar – A four-course Valentine’s dinner is on the books, which includes an appetizer, soup or salad, an entree, and dessert for $35 (vegetarian options available). If prix fixe menus aren’t your thing, Riverview will also be offering a special Valentine’s Day menu and a complementary glass of bubbly. Seatings are at 5, 5:30, 7, and 7:30.
