Hi! My name is Laura Whitney. I am a twenty-something independent designer living in Minneapolis with my wonderful husband Dylan and our 2 kitties, Groucho and Tabetha. I am the proud owner of Uptown Urban Craft, which sells handmade clothing, accessories, and soft home goods!

I design a lot of bridal accessories and although it's been almost 4 years since my own wedding, I still get giddy over all things wedding and the excitement of planning a big party! I really focus on quality materials as well as couture craftsmanship. I like my designs to be dreamy & beautiful but completely practical and something that a real bride would want to wear. Each season I also do a limited number of custom dresses for local clients.
