Dew Drop Dash 5K

The 5th Annual 5K Race, Jog, Walk is Sunday, May 6 at St. Catherine University. This is a run for all ages and abilities.  Race and compete for the best time.  Jog and enjoy the scenery of the St. Catherine woods and Dew Drop Pond or walk with your friends and family. Runners start at 8 a.m., Walkers at 8:30 a.m.  Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.  All proceeds benefit St.

On Nov. 30 of last year, 60 African American fig-
ures issued an “open letter” charging the Cuban
government with practicing racial discrimination.
The letter was initiated by Carlos Moore, a Cuban
writer and lecturer and long-time opponent of
the Cuban revolution. The issuance of the letter
coincides with increased attacks on Cuba by the
US government.
