BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA—Saturday afternoon Jamie Millard and I navigated the beautiful neighborhoods of Beverly Hills to attend the Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Symposium, hosted by Academy governor Leonard Engleman, to honor this year’s nominees for best makeup, which takes place yearly at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
