During the weekend, private art studios and galleries in NE Mpls are open to the public, creating a unique atmosphere to connect with artists and purchase original artwork.

Off Leash Area's Garage Tour in NE Minneapolis
Supported by grants from COMPAS and the Minnesota State Arts Board, Off-Leash Area will once again tour their family-friendly hit “A GIFT FOR PLANET BX63” to garages in neighborhoods throughout the metro area. This year Off-Leash Area has expanded the tour to present a total of twenty performances in nine host garages between August 19th and October 15th.
A Summer of Abstract Art
The Anita Sue Kolman Gallery will be showing, "A Summer of Abstract Art," featuring abstract paintings by Minnesota artists, Betsy Ruth Byers, Farida Hughes, Joan Malkerson, and Patrick Kemal Pryor, June 17 through September 3, 2011.
The opening reception is on Friday evening, June 17, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free.
Bright Beginnings Studio Project
Join HandsOn Twin Cities volunteers as they spruce up the I Love a Parade Art studio gallery for program participants and visitors. Volunteers will be organizing and sorting art materials. In addition, volunteers will have the opportunity to see an artist studio, learn about upcoming art shows and learn how art can improve the world.
