Susan Metzger

Susan Metzger is a locally based fashion designer. Her shop, of the same name, is located in St. Paul on Grand Avenue. She created the label C'est Fou for her clothing line in 1986, which means "It's Crazy". It was inspired during her work as an assistant fashion designer in Paris, France. Susan's C'est Fou outfits are all one-of-a-kind pieces combining interesting textures, patterns and bold colors with European influences.

Susan Metzger designs and cuts out each piece of clothing of her C'est Fou line. She then has a talented and professional seamstress named Connie Lamere that sews them by hand out of her home to complete each piece.

What makes Susan Metzger different from other dress shops is the personal service she strives to provide each customer. She educates the customer about what designs are most flattering to their figure. If alterations are needed they are free of charge. C'est Fou outfits are for women who desire fashionable clothing that are comfortable, reasonably priced, low maintenance and fit each individual the way it should.
