“Our objective is to get people to a point where they can be ready to enter the competitive job market. They’ve been through a divorce or abandonment or are escaping familial violence, and need to start over. A lot of them were caregivers or stay-at-home-moms, and they are finding that they’re not sure of themselves, or have low self-esteem. Many have a sense of hopelessness. We help them look at the skills and abilities they have. So many leave our program and say, ‘You were there to give me hope when I didn’t have any hope.’” MORE »

Oral Roberts U grad Bachmann says Harvard grad Obama ‘isn’t well-schooled’

Michele Bachmann recently told the Hometown Source, an online extension of ABC Newspapers in the northern suburbs, that Barack Obama “isn’t well-schooled and prepared to be President of the United States.”

That’s an interesting observation, coming from a graduate of a law school that once lost its American Bar Association accreditation. MORE »
